In 2010 OKID26 & JOKE42 declaired Tel Aviv as the NEW BARCELONA.
Abandoned Buildings & Industrial-Areas, Daytime-Painting in the Center of the City, best Street-Food, the Beach, Cafés, a most friendly &
hospitable Scene, a Police who do not care much for Graffiti.
In Israel the first who ever did Graffiti were the Nah Nachs (נ נח נחמ נחמן מאומן), a religious Group
following the teachings of some special Rabbi. Since 15 years they are painting their Slogan “Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me’uman” all over the Country.

If you visit Israel and plan to paint you should stop by CAPZOOLA in Geula 42 in Tel Aviv.
It´s (besides an Art-Store lately) the only Shop that sells high quality Spray-Paint (from Europe).

Lalo opened CAPZOOLA 5 years ago and sells spanish Montanas ever since. Hardcore costs 30 Shekel and 94s 35 Shekel
(around 6 and 7 EUR). Western Graffiti-Culture is kind of young in Israel – Lalo actively helped building a Scene with bringing the Spraycan to Israel
and offering a Place to hang out. CAPZOOLA is the Writers Corner of Israel.
ZOOLA (Urban Dict.): “(..) Hebrew slang: it describes the sort of atmosphere that hangs around on those lazy summer days, when it’s too
hot to be doing anything and there’s nothing to be done anyway, and you just sit in the shade and stare at the sunlight outside in a sort of half-conscious state.

Just one little thing… When you use CC-by-NC-ND license anyway (good thing!), why do you spoil your pictures with such a big watermark? This really disturbs the viewing IMHO x_x
I do not think its a BIG disturbing Watermark. You should check other Press-Photos such as Getty. After years of WORK i am tired of seeing my Pictures all over the Web without a Credit. A tiny Watermark makes it easy for EVERYONE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND “CC BY” :-) thanks for comment.
