great idea, but it’s not a very good painting. technically speaking. you can’t see it until you get real close. the piece around the corner works because, at a distance, it’s a face, and when you get close it becomes something else. But this one, nah. I’d like to see the idea as an animation loop. like a big clock, every drip a second closer to the end of humanity… that could look awesome…
not every idea should become a giant mural, and part of being a great artist is knowing how to use ideas in the most effective way
I think Blu is tired and needs a break. he works too damn hard! the quality of his paintings (the actual pieces, not the ideas) has dropped off the last year. and I told him this, so no need for everyone to start a bitching war on the internet!!! Blu, take a break, there will still be walls left for you when the ol’ batteries are re-charged ;-)
